"Housekeeping really let the stay down"
I stayed for 3 nights the housekeeping was disappointing. The room barely seemed cleaned at all — towels weren’t replaced, the bins were still full, and the bed looked like someone just quickly pulled it up and called it done. Isn’t that kind of the bare minimum you expect from a hotel? I even had to ask reception twice for basic things. I’ve stayed with NH Hotels before expecting a certain standard, so this really wasn’t what I had in mind.

"Nice staff, but the place needs a little upkeep"
The hotel was fine overall and the staff were genuinely nice, but the building itself felt a little worn out, like the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly and there was some peeling paint here and there, so while it wasn’t a bad stay by any means, I did leave feeling like the place could use a bit more maintenance for what I expected...

"I stayed at NH and the…"
I stayed at NH and the whole eco-friendly thing felt kind of... half there. Like, they had the usual signs about reusing towels, but mine still got replaced anyway, so I wasn't sure what the point was. There were also quite a few little plastic bits around, and I couldn’t find any clear recycling info in the room. Maybe they’re trying, but it just came across more for show than anything.

"Arrived tired and had nowhere to park"
I booked expecting parking to be sorted, but when I got there there was basically nothing available. After a long drive I was already feeling mentally drained, so being told by staff to just find a public car park nearby was the last thing I needed. It was really frustrating and not what I expected from NH Hotels

The family room was okay for us, nothing fancy but it did the job. Breakfast were way too busy though, so it felt a bit stressful trying to get food and find a place to sit.

"The room itself was totally fine…"
The room itself was totally fine, clean enough, comfortable enough, no big complaints there. But for what the overall stay was, the price felt a little high. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it kind of had that “they know exactly how much they can charge before people start complaining” vibe. Not a bad stay, just felt like the numbers behind the scenes were working a little too hard.

I cancelled within the allowed time, but they still charged me anyway. support just kept bouncing me from one person to another, and weeks later I still haven’t gotten a refund.

I booked through nh-hotels.com and stayed for one night, but for some reason the heating/air con in the room was just not working properly. The room was already cold when I got in, and when I tried adjusting the thermostat, all it did was make a loud fan noise with no warm air coming out.
I mentioned it to reception and they said they’d check it, but nothing really changed. I ended up sleeping in a hoodie and still woke up cold, which isn’t what I expect when paying for a hotel room. I wouldn’t book again.

"Didn’t feel safe and no one followed up"
I didn’t feel very safe staying here. The security seemed loose, and when I brought up my concerns, it felt like nobody really cared. What bothered me even more was that there was no follow-up afterward, so it just left me feeling ignored.

I wasn’t sure if I was even going to hear back at first since it took about two days to get a response. I started wondering if I should’ve tried somewhere else, but they did eventually get back to me and helped sort things out.

I tried to make a booking, but the app froze on me twice and kept randomly logging me out, which got frustrating. I reached out to support and they basically said something like, “Try closing the app and signing back in,” but that didn’t really fix it for me. I eventually got through, but the whole process was way more annoying than it should’ve been.

"Loyalty perks felt pointless"
I booked with NH a few times because I thought the loyalty program looked actually decent, but in reality, not much showed up from it. No room upgrade, late checkout they said was “not possible,” and the points, they took forever to appear.
When I contacted support, the replies felt like copy-paste stuff, not really helpful. Being a member, it kind of feels like it means nothing unless you keep chasing them for every small thing. For me, not worth it.

"Fastest check-in ever, zero stress"
I got there completely tired and expected the usual waiting around, but nope, the front desk had everything handled in what felt like a few minutes. They were super quick, helpful, and made the whole thing ridiculously easy. No line drama, no confusion, no fuss at all. Best possible first impression, without question.

"Mostly okay for accessibility, but a few awkward bits"
I stayed at an NH hotel recently and overall it was fine, not amazing, but manageable. The lift worked without any issues and getting into the room was straightforward. The bathroom setup was a bit awkward though — and there wasn’t much space around the bed, which made things feel a little cramped. The staff were helpful when I asked for anything, so that was a plus. I do think the website could be clearer about accessibility details — I ended up having to call just to double-check things. Not a bad stay, just not as smooth as I’d hoped
"Too far from everything"
I didn’t realize how far this hotel was from anything useful until I got there. The buses were a hassle, and after a while you end up spending way too much on taxis just to get around.
"Clean Bathroom and Great Shower"
The bathroom was really nice and clean, which I appreciated a lot. The shower worked great too, good water pressure, hot water came on fine, nothing was leaking, and it didn’t feel grimy or awkward to use. Also, there were no weird smells at all, like no mildew smell, no drain smell, no musty towel smell, none of that. Just a solid, clean bathroom experience overall.

"Am I Missing Something With Their Complaint Process?"
I had a billing issue after my stay and sent over everything they asked for. Then it took weeks to get any kind of reply, and after all that they just closed the case without giving me a real answer. Am I missing something, or is that just how they handle complaints? It felt like they were hoping I’d get tired and give up. Really disappointing experience

"Decent for a Night, But Mixed Feelings"
The restaurant was okay, the food wasn’t bad at all, but it also didn’t really stand out. I kind of enjoyed it, but at the same time I wouldn’t say I was impressed. The bar was probably the better part, with decent drinks and really nice staff, though the prices felt a little steep for what you get. Overall, it was fine for one night. I wouldn’t avoid it, but I’m also not rushing back.

"Pretty solid stay overall"
I figured the place would be decent based on the photos, and it pretty much matched what I expected. The pool was nice, the gym was clean, and the room was comfortable enough to settle in and relax.

I was feeling a bit pressured to get a good night’s sleep since I had a long day ahead, but the room was super quiet with no noise at all. I slept great the whole night.
